Prospective Students

Selection Criteria

Advanced Placement and Honors students recommended by their teachers may apply for one or both camps. A maximum of two students per high school will be invited to each camp. Students may be invited to multiple camps if they apply and are selected. In the case that more than 40 students apply to one camp, selection will be based on recommendation letters and school performance. Those applicants who are not invited to the camp will still be considered for lab visits and research experience at UCF.

It is policy of OCTET, BIOTEC and PhYSICOS to ensure equal opportunity in all phases of the selection process. OCTET, BIOTEC and PhYSICOS will maintain an environment for all participants that is free from prohibited discrimination and harassment based on race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, national origin, and protected genetic information
